I completely agree, how many characters by Disney which are loved by children and admired, (scarily and subtly) have an undertone of sexism and stereotypes regarding gender roles. Not only Mulan, but many other female characters have a predetermined path decided for them which involves being a wife.The little mermaid in particular, is a prime example. She gives up ultimate control, literally her own voice, in order to change to a human so as to be good enough to marry the prince!","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[{"id":"95749065","body":"I agree with your comments on the domestic violence topic that sometimes there are grey areas when you are observing friends and the line between toxic and abusive etc, the video was good too :)","dateCreated":"1509706701","smartDate":"Nov 3, 2017","userCreated":{"username":"scoffey5","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/scoffey5","imageUrl":"https:\/\/ssl.wikicdn.com\/i\/user_none_lg.jpg"}}],"more":0}]}],"more":false},"comments":[]},"http":{"code":200,"status":"OK"},"redirectUrl":null,"javascript":null,"notices":{"warning":[],"error":[],"info":[],"success":[]}}
